My research interests are primarily the following:
- Topological band theory and (fractional) quantum Hall effect
- Advanced numerical method for solving many-body physics
- Time-periodically driven system
- Moiré materials and moiré-induced quasi-periodic order
Notable works done so far:
- Proposed the oblique space-time crystal, the Floquet-Bloch backaction, and the Floquet quasisteady acoustoelectric effect
- Formulated the semi-classical theory for Floquet-Bloch electrons
- Proposed a model for realizing the Fractional Chern insulator in moiré-layer graphene
- Applied the bootstrap principle to the quantum Hall system
I am also open to new fields of study especially:
- Quantum information and computation
- Non-hermitian quantum system
- Machine learning in physics
